The Soda Bottles. Wait a minute... Is it COKE?
Level 1-9 is a level in Ground Hog Day. It introduces the Soda Bottle, a one-time-use part that pushes the cart away from whichever direction it's facing.
Parts[]
The player is given a 5x2 grid, along with the following parts:
- 1x Ross
- 3x Wooden Frame
- 2x Wooden Wheel
- 2x Black Soda Bottle
Solution[]
The star box on the left.
The player is awarded stars for the following conditions:
- Ross reaches the goal.
- The level's Star Box is collected.
- The level is completed within 5 seconds.
Finishing the level on time requires the player to use the full power of the Soda Bottles. Placing two of them with the caps facing to the left, one on either side of a simple cart, and activating them at the same time will push the cart to the goal within the 5-second time limit.
As for the Star Box, the player should direct one of the two Soda Bottles to the right instead, and activate it first. They should also use the other Soda Bottle once the Star Box has been collected, to make it over the small hill between them and the goal.
Skulls[]
A Skull is hidden in the hole behind the starting area, requiring the player to use both Soda Bottles to get over the hill and reach the Skull. However, if the player activates both Soda Bottles at the same time, they will overshoot the hole and may get stuck. Activating one Soda Bottle at a time should allow the player to reach the hole with just enough speed to simply fall in and reach the Skull.
