Level 1-18 is a level in Ground Hog Day. It introduces Tiny Wheels, which can be used to decrease the size of a vehicle or combined with normal wheels to change the a vehicle's angle.
Parts[]
The player is given a 3x3 grid, along with the following parts:
- 1x Ross
- 2x Wooden Frame
- 2x Wooden Wheel
- 2x Tiny Wheel
Solution[]
The player is awarded stars for the following conditions:
- Ross reaches the goal.
- The level is completed without using Soda Bottles.
- The level is completed within 6 seconds.
The player should construct a vehicle with two connected Wooden Frames in the middle row, and an Umbrella in the remaining space in that row. Next, the player should place a Wooden Wheel in the middle of the bottom row, and a Tiny Wheel beside it, to angle the vehicle so the Umbrella does not tip it over. Lastly, Ross should be placed in the frame in the middle of the grid. The vehicle should be on the ground; the timer won't start until Ross moves by about the length of one frame, which can be quite helpful.
From there, the player should repeatedly open and close the Umbrella to pull the vehicle over the edge, ensuring the Umbrella is retracted once it falls off the edge. The cart will fall into the pit below, and will roll to the goal. This works no matter which direction the vehicle is facing, due to the level's symmetrical nature.
